Our Core Value of “Gifted Servanthood” tells us that “We are a congregation of people who serve God by exercising equally the gifts given us by the Holy Spirit: “every member a minister”.” We believe that every believer has been given one or more spiritual gifts to be used in “works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4:12). We also believe that God has a ministry for every believer – one that you are uniquely suited for based on your spiritual gifts, personal style and passion for ministry. Ministry and service should never be a “have to” but a “get to” – and we want to help you discover the place where you “get to” serve!

In many cases, you can serve or observe just once or twice to see if you have an interest. Your exploration is not a commitment, but openness to where God might have you serve among us. "Discovering Ministry" Course – This exciting course is focused on helping you find your unique place of service. You will gain an understanding of your spiritual gifts, personality, passion areas. Lay Ministry Coaching is a part of this course and will help you identify one or more ministries to which you might be well suited. This course is offered at various times throughout the year in weekly and weekend formats.

– Want a more targeted approach in locating your ministry? Let us help you! Our team of Lay Ministry Coaches consists of persons who are trained to meet with you one-on-one to discuss your spiritual gifts, personal style and passion for ministry and refer you to various ministries within the church to which you may be well suited. This is our ministry and we are passionate about it!
